Todd B. Derrick MBA
Todd is interim president of Fuller Investment Management Company and senior director at The Fuller Foundation. He provides a variety of investment management services to a wide range of client profiles with a focus on the high net worth individual. Todd advises clients in matters ranging from trust and estate plans, charitable gifting of illiquid assets, and utilization of alternative investment strategies to help clients reach their personal financial and philanthropic goals. Prior to joining The Fuller Foundation in 1998 and Fuller Investment Management Company at its inception in 2013, Todd spent seven years in public accounting, specializing in complex tax matters relating to individuals, partnerships, charitable trusts, and estates. He also worked in commercial real estate investment sales and leasing for several years with an international commercial real estate brokerage firm. Todd holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Westmont College, and completed coursework in the Yale School of Management in Wealth Management, Theory & Practice. He holds a Series 65 securities license. Todd and his wife, Heidi, have been married for 30-plus years, have three adult children and one very precious grandchild, and are active in their local church and community. He enjoys watching and playing all sports (especially golf) and spending time with family and friends.
Dasha Thomas CAP®, CSPG
Dasha brings more than two decades of experience in the financial services and nonprofit sectors. As an investment counselor at Fuller Investment Management Company and executive director of The Fuller Foundation, she provides strategic and operational oversight for the Foundation as a whole and assists Fuller Investing clients with their investment needs. Prior to joining The Fuller Foundation, Dasha led comprehensive legacy programs for some of Los Angeles' largest public media and arts institutions, including Southern California Public Radio and The Music Center. She also provided planned giving support to The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens in Pasadena. Dasha's experience includes a significant tenure at Charles Schwab, where she was responsible for cultivating strong client relationships to grow assets under management and facilitate business development. She oversaw various compliance, operational, and administrative functions, managed client relations activities, and worked on foreign restricted accounts with a focus on the Russian Federation. Dasha holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Russian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a licensed Series 65 professional, a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy, and a Certified Planned Giving Specialist. Outside of her professional endeavors, Dasha enjoys traveling, baking, and reading historical fiction, bringing a warm and engaging presence to all she does.
Brian Rietze CPA
Brian is chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Fuller Investment Management Company and The Fuller Foundation. He also serves as Chief Compliance Officer for Fuller Investment Management Company. He worked in public accounting at a Pasadena-based firm before joining the foundation in 2012. Brian is responsible for the Foundation’s day-to-day operations, ensuring that the financial, operational, and administrative systems are aligned to support the organization’s strategic priorities. He also oversees administration of the investment funds and various endowments/scholarships benefiting Fuller Seminary and other charities as well as the brokerage accounts, charitable trusts, and donor-advised funds. Brian is an active member of his church and serves as chairman of the board for a local nonprofit organization. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and is a Certified Public Accountant. In his free time, Brian enjoys golfing, gold prospecting, fishing, sports, and activities with family.
Alyse Lee
Alyse is senior director of client experience and marketing at Fuller Investment Management Company and The Fuller Foundation. She is responsible for the design and delivery of the client experience, overall marketing for the Foundation as a whole, and the systems that drive growth. Alyse also manages the administration of brokerage accounts, endowment funds, donor-advised funds, and charitable trusts. She brings more than fifteen years of experience in the philanthropic sector and financial services industry and joined the Foundation in 2017. Alyse holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University Bloomington. When not working, Alyse loves to create memories with her family, explore new cities, find her zen through yoga, and host her friends for book club.
Jenny Lee
Jenny is client experience manager at Fuller Investment Management Company and The Fuller Foundation. She joined the Foundation in 2022 and has more than fifteen years of customer service experience across multiple sectors. Jenny serves as a key point of contact for clients and supports the client experience across Fuller Investing and the Foundation. She also provides essential operational support for client service and business development efforts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Willamette University in Oregon. Jenny enjoys spending time with her family, trying new foods, traveling, and catching up with friends over coffee.
Tristan Ruiz
Tristan is an investment financial analyst at Fuller Investment Management Company. Prior to joining the firm in early 2022, he worked as a financial representative for a Fortune 90 company. Tristan handles a number of investment-related functions, including trading and portfolio administration, and works closely with the various vendors, custodians, consultants, and third-party administrators utilized by the firm. He also takes lead on client reporting and helps the team with analysis on portfolios and positions. Tristan is an active member of his local church. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Tristan enjoys spending time with his wife and son at the beach, in the snow, or anything in between. He loves getting his workouts in, watching his favorite sports teams on the weekend, and is always looking for investment opportunities.
